Meet Dr. Christine Janikowski (Crystal Lake, IL)
Dr. Christine Janikowski received her Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Loyola University Chicago. With more than 35 years of experience in optometry and ophthalmology—including over 26 years as a practicing optometrist—Dr. Janikowski brings a deep breadth of clinical knowledge and compassionate care to our Algonquin practice.
During her training at the Illinois College of Optometry, Dr. Janikowski completed internships in primary care, pediatrics, low vision, and advanced care. She also completed externships at Maryville Academy, the Illinois Center for Rehabilitation and Education, and the VA Chicago Health Care System. Dr. Janikowski is an active member of both the Illinois Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
